Jeanette Trusty

Jeanette Trusty, 65, of Blountsville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020. She was born February 25, 1955, in Cullman, Alabama, to Arvell and Maggie Thomas Hooper.

Ms. Trusty was a homemaker, as well as the fan of a good nap. Her children fondly recall their mother playing with them. She was a fun-loving mom who wasn’t afraid of a good pudding fight with her children. She was a loving mother, and she raised her children well.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Arvell and Maggie Hooper, three brothers, and a special friend, Meryl Crowell.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Hooper (Stephanie Morris); daughters, Mary Trusty and Crystal Trusty Doss; brothers, Robert Hooper, Junior Hooper, James Hooper (Sonya), Gearl Hooper; sisters, Gracie Jones (Ronnie), Fran Creel (David); and several grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday evening, October 21, 2020, from 4 p.m., until 5 p.m., in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Friends are also invited to join the family in a memorial service celebrating the life of Ms. Trusty. The memorial service will begin immediately following visitation at 5 p.m.
