Kimberly Ann Martin

Kimberly Ann Martin, 54, of Holly Pond, passed away on July 8, 2020. She was born September 20,1965, in Cullman County, to Kenneth and Martha Collins Martin.

Kimberly was a homemaker as well as a caregiver. She was the life of the party and always happy. Kimberly loved to help other people, no matter the sacrifice to herself. She enjoyed fishing in her free time and being with her family. But most importantly, Kimberly was a cherished daughter, beloved wife, a loving mother and an adoring “Nuni” to her grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Ms. Martin is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Martin, and her grandparents, Ed and Sadie Collins and Hermon and Scottie Martin.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Scotty James; mother, Martha Martin; son, Matthew Martin and wife Tiffany; daughter, Temisha James; sister, Tina Edwards; brother-in-law, Tony James; grandchildren, Emma Martin, Olivia Martin, Maverick Martin, and Riley Martin; two nieces and a nephew; and slew of great-nieces and great-nephews as well as many others she loved and considered family.

At Kimberly’s request, a private family service will be held on Saturday morning, July 11, 2020, Justin Edwards officiating. Matt Martin, Tyler Pendergrass, Tony James, Kevin James, Nolan Hunt, and Eric Walker will serve as pallbearers for Kimberly. Kimberly wanted to be remembered as the fun loving and joy filled person that she is, and it is her request that she be laid to rest without tears and sorrow from those she loved. Friends are invited to visit the graveside later Saturday afternoon or in the days following. Family attending the service are asked that no children under the age of twelve attend. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as you remember and celebrate the life of Kimberly.

Holly Pond Funeral Home is honored to serve the Martin family.
